I have loved every single book so far in this series and wow what a story this one is.
It’s gripping, and we have a few things going on and I was like OMG once the evil ones come to light.

Lawrey is a tough detective but even so, she has her hands, mind, and soul overwhelmed in this.

A mass shooting in Sandtown, has us losing many long-time residents. Who did it?
Billy although tough as nails finds himself dealing with the shooting in his home, losing a good friend, and now a teenager in his lap?

Someone also is trying to do bodily damage to Lawrey does it have to do with her past, and her father?

This is an all-hands-on-deck, gripping story. This author knows how to weave these stories so good you never know what hits you till it does.
